We are delighted to be recognised as one of the 2026 UK’s Best Workplaces™ by Great Place To Work® UK! This recognition is based on the completion of Great Place To Work employee engagement survey with feedback provided directly by our colleagues.
The data and insights help us understand our employees experience of working with us, what is working well and where we need to focus and make improvements.
Our hybrid working policy means that most of our colleagues can work from home for part of their working week. Everyone comes in for a minimum of 60% of their contracted hours, this can be more depending on which career you pursue with us.
Our smart/casual dress code allows you to wear what you feel comfortable and for you to be your authentic self at work.
In our offices, we have quiet spaces as well as more collaborative areas to create a comfortable working environment for all of our colleagues.
We will make adjustments for you depending on your needs, to ensure that you can perform at your best and feel supported and involved at work.
Our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are a vital part of our 100% Us Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategy, created in direct response to colleague feedback and shaped with support from external DEI specialists. These groups have quickly grown into a powerful force for culture building across VWFS, providing safe, supportive spaces for colleagues to connect, share lived experiences and influence meaningful change.
Our ERGs—Race & Ethnicity, Disability & Neurodiversity, Proud (LGBTQIA+), and Parents & Carers - champion equity and inclusion by addressing the real barriers colleagues may face and by celebrating the diversity that strengthens our business. They offer opportunities for open discussion, storytelling, and awareness raising, helping all colleagues feel valued, represented and heard. Through active involvement in business initiatives, DEI reporting, strategic discussions, and educational activities, ERGs now play a critical advisory role in ensuring our policies, services and ways of working meet the needs of our diverse workforce and customer base.
This work is already creating visible impact. The groups regularly share lived experiences to deepen understanding, host conversations that challenge assumptions, and champion intersectionality - recognising that many colleagues may identify across multiple ERG communities. They support cultural events, drive improvements in accessibility and inclusion, and act as a trusted voice in shaping our future DEI priorities. As our DEI strategy progresses, ERGs are now recognised as a cornerstone of our inclusive culture at VWFS UK.
"We help and support our colleagues in the workplace by offering adjustments - such as specialist software - so that everyone can feel confident in their job and successfully carry out their roles and responsibilities."
