Asset Risk Forecasting Analyst Undergraduate Placement

Hybrid working:            We want you to get the best out of your placement, so we operate a hybrid policy where undergraduates work in the office 3 days per week. There may be times where you will need to be in more frequently depending on the needs of the business.

• You'll be responsible for the analysis and evaluation of industry and market related data to calculate Residual Values (RVs) for all Volkswagen Group models 
• Deliver timely and accurate analysis of industry and market related data
• Enhancing your expertise in Excel to effectively analyse data and carry out different reports
• Collaborating with Volkswagen Group brand colleagues to analyse new model product information 
• Engaging with senior management and collaborating with various teams to ensure seamless operations and continuous improvement of finance processes
• Manage multiple inboxes and respond to queries from colleagues across Volkswagen Financial Services and Volkswagen Group 

• You're currently studying a degree in Maths, Economics or a related field
• Strong mathematical aptitude and analytical skills to effectively handle financial data
• Proficiency in spreadsheets and intermediate to beginner-level Excel knowledge, with a willingness to expand your technical skills
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure, juggling multiple responsibilities and meeting deadlines
• A curious mindset with the ability to think creatively  
• Work both independently and collaboratively and put yourself forward for new challenges

What our recruitment process looks like:

• Apply and upload your CV, covering letter and answer a few application questions.
• You’ll be invited to complete a Situational Judgement Test. This is a short multiple-choice question set to help us understand how you may approach situations.
• If you pass this stage, you will be invited to complete an online video interview where you will have the opportunity to tell us more about yourself.
• If successful, your last step in the journey is to attend an in-person Assessment Centre at our Milton Keynes office. You’ll also meet some of our managers and our current undergraduates to find out more about a placement year with us.

Please note: Our undergraduate placement roles do not meet the UKVI’s criteria for the skilled worker sponsorship route, therefore we are unable to accept candidates requiring sponsorship for this role.
