Product Integration Undergraduate Placement

•  Working closely with Channel Managers, armed with research and data, to identify trends, successes and potential opportunities of our various eCommerce journeys.  
• Working alongside Channel Managers and Product Owners, suggest improvements to eCommerce journeys to benefit the customer journey or performance to VWFS. 
• Assist the Product Integration Manager in devising communication and training strategies, as well as operational and technical support models for new product enhancements and launches. Gain valuable experience in crafting effective communication plans, a skill that complements your university coursework. 
• Play a crucial role in incident management by triaging live product incidents. Provide essential information to the development team to aid in problem resolution, further enhancing your problem-solving skills. 
• Support the Product Integration Manager in creating operational and technical support models, as well as communication plans for new products. This experience will broaden your skill set and demonstrate your ability to apply theoretical concepts to real-world scenarios. 
• Utilise reporting suites to extract valuable insights, enabling Product Owners to make informed strategic decisions and bolster business cases for future products. This aspect of the role offers a practical application of data analysis skills, which are highly sought after in today's job market. 
• Ensure that new products undergo evaluation and approval by various stakeholders, such as Risk, Governance, Legal, and Compliance, to ensure compliant product delivery. 

•  Currently studying a degree in Business, Marketing or Tech related field.
• Strong analytical, accuracy & problem-solving skills with a focused logical approach and being able to digest large data sets and analyse to identify trends and insight
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with varying levels of stakeholders
• The ability to work independently, while supporting wider teams 
• Have an interest in change management and the product development lifecycle
• Self -motivated, with excellent organisational skills and ability to use own initiative
• PC literacy – Microsoft office skills.

What our recruitment process looks like:

• Apply and upload your CV, covering letter and answer a few application questions.
• You’ll be invited to complete a Situational Judgement Test. This is a short multiple-choice question set to help us understand how you may approach situations.
• If you pass this stage, you will be invited to complete an online video interview where you will have the opportunity to tell us more about yourself.
• If successful, your last step in the journey is to attend an in-person Assessment Centre at our Milton Keynes office. You’ll also meet some of our managers and our current undergraduates to find out more about a placement year with us.

Please note: Our undergraduate placement roles do not meet the UKVI’s criteria for the skilled worker sponsorship route, therefore we are unable to accept candidates requiring sponsorship for this role.
