We’re looking for an Assistant Treasury Analyst to monitor funding, liquidity and interest rate risk.
This analytical role will be instrumental in supporting the Treasury team to ensure a robust control environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Help monitor daily and monthly liquidity by gathering accurate financial data to support confident decision-making.
- Support stress testing and scenario planning by compiling model outputs for review.
- Assist in preparing data for financial planning cycles and cost analysis using standard templates.
- Create liquidity and cost forecasts for long-term and in-year planning for VW Bank UK.
- Keep documentation up to date for planning assumptions and flag any data issues.
- Help implement and monitor treasury controls to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Essential experience & skills
- Studying towards or completion of a relevant UK accounting qualification, such as AAT, ACCA or CIMA.
- Demonstrable experience of Treasury Function operations.
- Experience working within a Financial Services Environment.
- An understanding of the core aspects of our product portfolio and their financial impacts.
- The ability to build strong stakeholder relationships both internally up to director level and externally to secure commitment and support.
- Ability to maintain a working knowledge of market / credit risks.
