Are you a strategic, innovative, and experienced finance professional with a passion for driving change and maintaining financial integrity? We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Change Product Manager (FCPM) to take ownership of our company's product catalogue from a finance perspective. In this vital role, you will ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of our systems, processes, and controls, while actively identifying and mitigating deficiencies.
As the FCPM, you will lead a team on all finance related change initiatives within the wider organisation, partnering with key stakeholders to develop and implement long-term strategic changes in systems, products, and operations. You will take responsibility for the successful implementation of significant company-wide modernisations and digital transformations, such as our Contract Management replacements and implementation of SAP S4.
What you’ll be doing:
- Drive the finance strategy for change, engaging with Subject Matter Experts across Finance to support and drive key initiatives forward.
- Lead a team of technical experts responsible for interpreting, translating, and modelling the impacts of business changes on financial systems, processes, and controls.
- Manage a specialist team, providing clear direction, focus, and development opportunities to maximise their skills and contributions.
- Advise department heads on risk mitigation tactics, fostering employee adoption and managing anticipated resistance to change.
- Influence business initiatives involving financial data and processes by leveraging your knowledge of finance operations and their relationship to other business functions.
- Deliver analytical solutions and insights to senior management and the Board of Management to inform strategic decision-making.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of our balance sheet, products, core IT systems, finance controls, and processes to streamline and enhance overall efficiency.
- Maintain financial integrity by ensuring adherence to accounting and regulatory standards, robust controls, and effective operational processes throughout our product catalogue.
Essential experience & skills:
- Demonstrated experience driving significant change initiatives across complex organisations
- Solid understanding of people's change processes and effective change management strategies
- Proven management experience in both financial and commercial business environments
- Qualified ACCA or CIMA accountant or equivalent experience
- Proven track record in the automotive finance industry
- Core accounting & technical knowledge of finance business processes
- Adept at adapting to changing needs from multiple stakeholder groups, providing solutions to changing circumstances
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with senior stakeholders, influencing decision making and driving strategic outcomes
