As a Data Analytics & Insight Executive, you will be responsible for delivering Management Information (MI) across the Operations and Commercial departments.
This analytical role will be instrumental in providing reporting and analysis which is accurate, adds value and articulates a clear story which drives and informs the business.
What you’ll be doing:
- Own and produce the standard reporting suite, enabling fast and accurate information production to aid stakeholder decision making.
- Create awareness of risks and opportunities through monitoring all performance reporting.
- Identify and resolve any data quality issues that have an impact on the Business Performance team outputs.
- Develop sound working relationships cross functionally and companywide to improve and then maintain data quality across the wider business.
- Proactively develop and continuously improve outputs to anticipate the future needs of stakeholders.
- Have an understanding of data visualisation tools such as Tableau in order to refine the reporting suite and drive a reduction in ad-hoc reactive report requests.
- Maintain Salesforce data for the Fleet department, ensuring all data is audited for accuracy.
Essential experience & skills:
- Analytical thinker, but with the ability to engage and convey ideas and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
- Methodical and disciplined approach to work, ability to identify trends and exceptions with tenacity to investigate
- Advanced PC literacy: Microsoft Office skills especially Excel for reporting requirements and knowledge/experience of Business Objects, SQL and Tableau
- Automotive finance and / or banking industry experience.
- Experience in implementing technically complex activities, particularly of a reporting or analytical nature.
- Proven success in sharing complex technical knowledge across multiple senior stakeholder groups.
