SALARY: £22,588 to £28,252 pa dependent on experience (based on part time hours)
LOCATION: Milton Keynes
HYBRID WORKING: Our current hybrid working policy requires 20% of working time to be based in the Milton Keynes office however flexibility is expected to meet the needs of the business and the role.

The Fleet Corporate Credit Control team are dedicated and responsible to provide support, guidance and effective management of the Corporate Collections Strategy for Fleet, Public Sector, Rent a Car (RaC) customer portfolios, VWFS Retailers and Insurance repairers
We’re looking for a Credit Control Specialist to provide process and technical expertise for all corporate credit control processes, customer account management and reconciliations. You'll provide an excellent customer service, whilst ensuring funds due to VWFS are recovered on time, accurately allocated and in compliance with all procedures and controls
This compliance focussed role provides process and technical expertise for all corporate credit control processes, customer account management and reconciliations.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing excellent customer service, whilst ensuring funds due to VWFS are recovered on time, accurately allocated and in compliance with all procedures and controls
- Monitoring customer accounts, diarising and completing daily planned chaser calls and the issuing of default letters to customers,
- Review general ledgers to ensure any missed allocated payments are identified and moved to customer accounts to enable clearance prior to month end.
- Daily monitoring of Salesforce cases ensuring new cases are assigned to the designated Credit Controller and/or assigned to the relevant query queue for Fleet teams to action
- Proactively liaising with customers and cross functionally to manage and carry out in-depth investigations to resolve account and invoicing queries, in order to prevent payment delays and maximise customer satisfaction
What you’ll bring:
You’ll be someone with a true passion for customers with a sound background in credit control within a B2B environment.
What are we looking for?
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications, especially Excel, including pivot tables, look ups and other formulas to ensure accuracy of complex reconciliations is essential
- Previous experience in credit control and SAP FI
- Able to complete reconciliations and carry out in-depth investigations to validate and clear outstanding balances
- Competent in working with structured processes, you're great with numbers and are logical when problem solving
- Excellent relationship building skills – both within the business and externally
- If you have Fleet and Rent-a-Car or equivalent experience, this would be a great advantage
