JOB TITLE: Risk Reporting Analyst
SALARY: £31,653 -£39,557 pa dependent on experience (based on 32.5 hours)

HYBRID WORKING: Our current hybrid working policy requires 20% of working time to be based in the Milton Keynes office however flexibility is expected to meet the needs of the business and the role.

Asset Risk at VWFS is responsible for a range of activities critical to the delivery of the Asset Risk strategy including residual value management and forecasting.
We’re looking for a Risk Reporting Analyst to produce residual values for used vehicles up to 10 years old for both VWG brand vehicles and all other UK manufactures / National Sales Companies ensuring the RV curves are correct and consistent.
This analytical and detail oriented role role ensures the whole VWFS Asset portfolio is fully registered with the Asset Registration Agencies to protect VWFS’s interests and the portfolios correctly match all agencies.
What you’ll be doing:
- Producing all the required reviews for the Multi Marque RV Committee, using the latest available used vehicle information, micro and macroeconomic inputs, VWFS Remarketing data along with industry benchmarking data
- Designing and building financial modelling techniques that are transparent, auditable, and flexible to test the accuracy of the RV setting methodologies.
- Liaising with the VWFS HQ Group Risk Management team to ensure all modelling techniques are compliant with the I-OHB
- Representing VWFS at vehicle launches for either VWG vehicles or Multi Marque manufacture
- Creating and maintaining reports that monitor all aspects of Asset Risk activities including proposal volume, proposal rentals and RVs using excel and macros to maximise the automation potential, reduce risk and improve overall efficiencies.
What you’ll bring:
You’ll be an experienced and curious analyst with excellent communication skills who can engage influence, question and respond to a variety of stakeholders.
What are we looking for?:
- Experience of technical report production, data analysis, business analysis, financial and accounting analysis and statistical techniques
- You're an experienced user of Microsoft Excel and Tableau which, are both essential for this role
- You can write comprehensive reports and present your findings to your stakeholders
- The ability to manage short-term requirements however, you will also need to understand a broad strategic view of the business
